Beneath the veil of a starry night,
I met the moon, her face alight.
With cryptic tales and whispered sighs,
she filled my soul with ancient ties.
Her silver beams revealed the way,
to secrets hidden from the day.
And as she waned, she seemed to say,
that truth and beauty both decay.
Yet still I yearn to meet her glow,
to bask in mysteries unknown.
For in her light, I find a home,
where dreams and reality are my own.
