Slide Notes: "Taken by my father of my mother during her Christmas visit to Natal, northeastern Brazil, where he was assigned to work for two years, before they were married. She lived far away in the southeast. He used the camera he bought in his USA visit one year earlier. My father developed Alzheimer's disease at an early age (60) and has been in my mother's and my care since. He can no longer tell why he had been to the places and the events pictured in these photographs, but he recalled several of the images themselves when we projected them on the TV after scanning his 300+ slides."
