I couldn't do it - not completely. I had the time allocated to me to try and I have tried my best, but the goal alluded me. I am now here at my end, and that I have accepted, but the goal is larger than me. It is now your turn to try. I hope you reach it, for in the limited span of human consciousness, it truly is all that matters. I sacrifice me so that you can be. I sacrifice my attempt at climbing the stairs, for you to have one extra stair to climb. And when you do, do not look up at the unknown and how far is still go. If you must, look down at the countless stairs beneath you that has brought you to this very moment. And, alas, if you also do not reach the goal, I hope you can do as I have done and sacrifice yourself for a new chance to be given. The goal is large and wide and everything will try to make you stray, but I promise you it is more important than anything else: be a good person.
