I was doing my first ASCII, PETSCII, teletext, and other text-based explorations back in 2010, releasing them as animated GIFs on Tumblr. The TEXTSCAPE project revived that forgotten passion and inspired me to get back to visual experimentation with text characters.
Here's a drawing of my favorite motif, a linear rose, in my beloved colors, pink and black, animated by a shimmering matrix of text characters, subtly dithered.
