Dear precious friend, dear amazing collector, dear lovely hybrid of both,
here we are AGAIN, another year has passed - and my goodness, time flew!! Where did the months go?
Well, the good news is that the bull run is back, at least for crypto, and even for some NFTs, mostly projects that can now finally do some rewarding airdrops (which are mostly claims, ahem, ahem) bringing a bit of 2021 back into the community. - Still, us 'smaller' NFT artists are not that 'back' yet, but that is okay. Everything comes in circles, and seeing crypto pump will hopefully lead to a chain reaction, bring Ethereum to new ATHs after BitCoin surpassed $100k in early December this year, altcoin season coming, etc. Let's be patient and continue to build.
For everyone who never left plus everyone who returned, I hope our hard work and belief in something will pay off in some form one day - I am glad to have you along with me for the ride!

About "Monika's Art":
My name indeed is Monika, and while I was born and raised on a farm in Germany, I had the chance to live and work abroad for 10 years in my first job. This led me to Austria, the UK, Dubai in the UAE, New Zealand, and -briefly- India. I am now back in Germany with my husband and our six tortoises.
We share a deep interest and appreciation for other cultures and languages, and we try to build bridges wherever we can.
A lot of inspiration comes from other regions of the world with an accent on Asia and Scandinavia.

While I always created art throughout my life, I seldom dared to show it really, so the blockchain is indeed the first time I am 'outing' myself here - which is a huge step for me. Driven by life-long struggles with my self-worth, depression and anxiety, creating always has been and still is a way of expressing what is going on inside and cannot be expressed by words yet. This sometimes leads to spontaneous, creative outbursts, often changing the flow from my original intention. In most of the cases, finding the words for the title in the end is the expression of what was previously unspoken.
In the last more than 3 years, I have shipped some my canvasses all over the world, I have been exhibited in digital exhibitions on most continents, my artworks made it into almost 5000 collectors wallets, and I have met so many amazing artists, collectors, and new friends.
