Transition in Bloom

'Transition in Bloom' marks a significant point in RiotDleted's artist journey. The piece was instigated during a intense period of growth, acceptance, exploration and transition in both aspects of psychological and mental transition as well as gender. The work maps the artist's changing attachment and relationship to their body, pleasure and sexuality; as well as the physical and mental change and growth that took place. Riot utilises a mixture of reference and input photography as well as Generative Adversarial Networks to create blended and distorted imagery that investigates our sense of self and the malleability of identity and body.
