Lisa Lebofsky is a nomadic plein air painter, collaborating with nature and people. She paints the susceptibility of nature, correlating its restlessness with our own human vulnerabilities. Lisa Lebofsky has her MFA in painting from New York Academy of Art. She is currently based in New York City and is director of DFN Projects. Her grandmother was born in what is today Ukraine -- "she and all of my grandparents and great grandparents fled the anti-Semitic violence of the Russian pogroms."
