The Victory of Samothrace and Michelangelo's David.
We are in a historical moment in which gender identity is increasingly developed. In this work, two bodies are merged, one female and the other male, created in different periods of art history but in a common style. The resulting work is a symbol of power for the LGBTIQ+ collective, which tells us that these sexual identities have been around at throughout all historical time periods, but that now they are gaining visibility and acceptance.
