It’s not always just letters & numbers, sometimes it's pulp. "Words of Art - GENESIS Collection” is my genesis project as an artist on the Foundation platform. Each “word of art” in this series contains unique versions of the letters E, G, I, N and S. No two letters in any one piece are the same…i.e. all E’s are different, all S’s are different, etc. Moreover, no two letters within this entire GENESIS series are the same. Each letter is exclusively from PulpType’s ever-growing catalog of alphanumeric characters. Each NFT in this collection is limited to just one edition (1/1) and will never be minted again.
I am a scavenger of type. Since 2011, everywhere I go, I’ve obsessively photographed type - letters & numbers. I have cataloged thousands of individual alphanumeric specimens. Each specimen, in and of itself, is a wholly-unique work of art. Collectively, this catalog has become the sole-creative-source for all of my work.
