I was chosen as a Hasselblad ambassador, so they sent me one of their new digital medium format cameras. What's a medium format camera, you wonder? Well, it's kind of like a full-frame Sony/Nikon/Canon, but the sensor is bigger to collect more light at a slightly different aspect ratio. Because the sensor is bigger, it also changes the optics and feeling of the photo. It's hard to explain. Also, in typical photographer gobbledygook, it doesn't make any sense why a "Medium Format" sensor is bigger than a "Full Frame" sensor.
Anyhoo, this is one of the first photos I took with the beast as I was driving from Queenstown to Milford Sound to test it out.
