That same year, Looney’s private key was leaked following a security bug. His assets were then held hostage by the hacker who set up a bot which automatically drained any BTC sent to the address turning it into a honeypot.

On June 11, 2021, Looney was able to beat the bot and rescued the “THING” asset with a memo titled “freeeeedom”:

On November 17, 2022, we were able to beat the bot sweeping all the remining assets along with the ownership!
