UMBRELLA is a historic Counterparty token issued in November 2014. 300 have since been burned in block 708,708.\n\nIn 2014, UMBRELLA's purpose was to raise funds for a for physical Bitcoin umbrellas. Each of the 600 UMBRELLA tokens was to represent a pre-order and later be redeemed for a physical umbrella adorned with the Bitcoin logo. It was the first time a token was issued on the Bitcoin blockchain as part of a plan to deliver a physical product. Later, 300 were burned leaving a remaining 300 supply.\n\nThe 600 original token supply was chosen because that was the minimum order from the manufacturer.
