Azrael Thade, a veteran activist of the Universal Primate Captivity Crisis movement at Apocolothnos Community College of Aurora Borealis, has been on several primate retrieval operations in the 22 years since earning their Hueristic Research Doctorate. Born of the more aggressive Zealot caste of Apskellion Space Apes, Azrael was abandoned in a New Frontier colony and adopted into a family of Doctors, eventually learning to embrace their more empathic ways. Now, with the native primates still in captivity on Earth, Azrael and the Doctors venture to fulfill the promise of release that the Homo Insipiens have reneged.
