A prominent figure in the field of Public Health, Cove Lazuli became an activist in primate liberation after completing their tenure at UGC State Technical Institute of Leo. As a member of the Doctor caste, it was always Cove's goal to obtain their Doctorate and use their education and skills to help their own people, but upon learning of the Universal Primate Captivity Crisis, their priorities changed. Now, with the native primates still in captivity on Earth, Cove and the Doctors venture to fulfill the promise of release that the Homo Insipiens have reneged.
