Happy hour on Stanley beach is a little unusual. At around 5pm the raizas wander down to the beach, raise their arms in the air and shout ‘Gilbrak eek muttifat’. The revellers on the beach lay there and open their mouths. The raizas proceed to spray the punters with their venom. Fortunately their venom is not dissimilar to jagermeister and everyone gets tipsy. Translated ‘Gilbrak eek muttifat’ means ‘May your children have hairy legs’. I know, like I said, it’s a bit unusual.
