Being born again from the ashes,
I will not apologize this time for choosing myself first
Even though Self love is the chapter that I’ve always wanted to write
Some days I forgot what it is like to be gentle with myself
How to look at myself with kind eyes
And to speak to myself with kind words
To remind myself that I’m my home and a temple worthy of worship
This chapter maybe ending but I’m starting a new one
And here’s to new beginnings, years of growth and future me
I’m trying to look at the the world through rose tinted glasses
Not because I’m naïve to the fact that I’m suffering but because I choose to see love
