A bite in the dark... then the darkness crept. A man no more, but “more” indeed. A hunger grew. A want. A NEED. There was an old man who lived down the road. He died in the woods, the gossips retold. No body was found. He's vanished away. His colorful home now faded to gray. The kids ran him off, though he provoked no fight. Now it's they who suffer his voracious bite. Cold and hungry, through their shadows he stepped. Massacred in the dark. Their mothers all wept. Cruel children are no more. Wrath saw them bleed. Roused by violence, on the town he now feeds."
