'BANG!'
A smoking gun hangs in the hand of 'The Flower Prince of Crime'.
In front of him, a low-level, street corner florist drops to the ground with a thud. The Flower Prince's lips slowly curl up into a wicked, almost sinful grin.. He adjusts the crown atop his head and re-applies his notoriously feared lipstick... He turns and walks away, laughing manically as he goes...
'The Flower Prince of Crime' does not mess around.. but he wasn't always like this..... A long time ago there was a black and white Fluf named Oscar who wanted to be the best florist the world had ever seen. After graduating florist academy he set up shop on a street corner to begin his dream of making everyone happy with his magnificent bouquets! One day, as he was setting up shop he noticed another Fluf setting up a flower stall across the road!
Angry, he stormed across the road to confront the Fluf but as he got closer he realised that not only was she female but she was beautiful!.. Oscars anger dissipated as he noticed the female Fluf struggling with setting up her stall. Instincts kicked in and he jumped in to grab some flower vases just as she was loosing control of them....And something unexpected happened...there was a connection... something Oscar had never felt before...
...."Thanks for you help" said a sweet voice that pulled Oscar out of his daze. "Im Holly" she said as she stuck her hand out. Oscar still lovestruck, stood there frozen before blurting out "uh no problem there Holly.. My name Oscar.. uuhhh is Oscar!" Holly turned around and grabbed a bouquet "Well Oscar, why donât you take these and then let me by you a coffee to say thanks for your help.."
Oscar couldn't believe it.. despite his nervousness, he had landed a date with this beautiful Fluf.. Oscar happily agreed and turned to walk up the road to the coffee shop with Holly.
Many years later, when detectives were investigating The Flower Princeâs past, an older Fluf named Judith, who lives on the first floor above Holly's stall, swore that when Oscar turned his back to walk up the road something in Hollys face changed.. When detectives asked Judith to elaborate what she saw on Hollys face she only had one word... "Evilâ
After many months of dating Oscar fell deeply in love with Holly.. things were moving fast. One night Holly rang and said she would pick Oscar up from his burrow for a date. Oscar thought she sounded a little off over the phone. When Holly arrived she looked⊠different⊠The expression on her face was hardened⊠She drove them to the lookout over the city without saying much of a word.. When they arrived she pulled out a flask and handed Oscar a drink⊠Oscar was now a little worried now but took the drink and downed it anyway⊠then⊠nothing⊠nothing happened.
Some weird part of Oscar thought something would be in the drink..for a second he thought Holly might do something to harm him but that was crazy. He turned to look at Holly who was smiling back at him, her usual self. âPhewâ thought Oscar. He leaned in to Holly.. but right before they kissed she stopped him and reached into her back and pulled outâŠ.Lipstick
Oscar didnât pay much attention as he was too busy dreaming about making fluffets with Holly but if he wasnât he might have noticed her opening the lipstick very carefully to avoid touching it with her skin, he might have smelled the protective coating that Holly had already pre-applied to her lips before she picked up Oscar and he might have seen a wicked, evil look flash briefly across Hollys eyes as she applied the lipstick.. but he didnât.
Then with bright red lipstick painted across Hollys lips they embraced.. Oscar felt magical, his passion was burning for Holly and as they locked lips he felt things starting to heat up⊠Their love was so hot for each other..
He could smell the burning fleshâŠ.BURNING FLESH!!!!
Oscar let out a blood curling scream as Holly jumped off him and leapt out the car. The flesh on Oscars lips was literally melting and burning at the same timeâŠ.In his struggle he locked eyes with Holly who was now outside the car and walking away. She turned and sinisterly winked at Oscar then vanished⊠The burning pain was creeping up Oscars face and his throat began to swell. His eyes began to bulge and his body began to twitch. The pain reached its maximum and then⊠blacknessâŠ
The next morning;
Judith looked out her apartment window and noticed that the usual flower store across the road run by the black and white Fluf wasnât there.. Below her window âthat girlsâ store was booming. There were queues several Flufs deep and Holly was also taking orders for tomorrows stock.
A bunch of little Flufs on bikes approached a car atop the city lookout⊠they heard a âsizzlingâ sound and smelled some sort of cooked meat.. maybe someone was making breakfast⊠When they looked in and saw the body of a black and white Fluf with its lips burnt, dis-figured and still smouldering, they called the ambulance..
The doctors in the hospital said that the black and white Fluf had been exposed to a vicious type of poison and that the poison has been applied to the lips and mouth area only. The doctors noted that this âkiss of deathâ type attack had been prevalent over the last few years and strangely all the victims were in the floristry industry..
However unlike the previous victims ⊠the Fluf with the black and white fur had miraculously⊠survived.
Many months later and after a mysterious dischargement from the hospital there were rumours flying around of a Fluf with the black and white fur working in the shadows and back alleys to take control of the cities floristry industry by force..
Oscar had died in that car and so when he finally emerged again, he did so as âThe Flower Prince of CrimeââŠcrowning himself with the very flowers given to him by Holly.. and covering his hideous facial scars with his own specially engineered version of killer lipstickâŠ
âThe Flower Prince of Crimeâ now stalks the streets at night, his victims found covered in lipstick or riddled in bullet holesâŠ
He is constantly searching and will never rest until he finds Holly for âThe Flower Prince of Crimeâ wants to give Holly a âgoodnight kissââŠ.
