This is a memento from my first time in Barcelona. I sketched on a postcard a gift from the sweet staff at Moco Museum - they were grateful to me because I encouraged some American tourists, who had stopped by as the museum was closing and I was already on my way out, to come back and see the amazing exhibit the following day. Channeling someone in the creation of the artwork itself... someone on my mind who recently passed away. I'm playing with the quote on the card "In art we trust", but also the message of trust as it relates to trusting your gut and having trust in yourself...
