The word "machine" immediately made me think of one of the many conspiracy theories surrounding Marilyn's life. Some believe that Marilyn Monroe was targeted because of confidential information she knew about Area 51. I chose to depict machine-Marilyn in a futuristic world surrounded by a beautiful field of flowers with a rainbow that symbolizes hope and then have the UFO engulf this world in its entirety.
