People spend their days glued to technology, forever scrolling through a limitless supply of information delivered to us at a frightening speed.
The ever-growing demand to quench addiction has lead many to ignore the collapse of the reality around us. Not many remember what it used to look like before we were all put into the virtual world. It took a while to adapt before we could accept it as our own; now, the only glimpse we get of the old world is when the circuitry that holds this fragile environment together breaks down, producing spectacular sights.
I often wonder if witnessing these brief moments of technological breakdowns is more exhilarating to see; this is something different, more than the world we now inhabit. In creating a paradise to escape our own, man has created his own prison.
