Since its completion in 1962 for the World's Fair, the Seattle Space Needle has been an icon of the city. The instant you see the Space Needle you know you're seeing Seattle. Once the tallest structure west of the Mississippi, the Space Needle stands at 605ft.
Blue hour, twilight, is my favorite time to shoot. That gloriously moody time between sunset and night. Originally, there was more purple in the sky when I took this shot and more color in the city. But the edit just never seemed to click. Once I went to a more two toned look of blue and orange did this photo finally come together.
