As the son of the Greek god, Zeus, and a mortal woman, Alcmene, Hercules is a demigod known for his strength and many adventures. He represents all the ideals Greeks had for a man and frequently defeats monstrous adversaries. Hercules is courageous. However, his confidence sometimes borders on arrogance, and his emotions can get the best of him.
