I wanted to capture different gender expressions and what they might feel sexy in. The pose is inspired by DaVinci’s "Vitruvian Man"; his ideal human body. Like him, as a non-binary being, I find my ideal body is androgynous. Androgyny in expression, body, mind, and spirit.
I wanted to show that everyone: men, women, and non-binary beings, can be seen and should feel sexy regardless of what they wear or how masculine or feminine they are. By owning our sexual and gender expressions, comes an unmatched sense of power. Something I hope everyone allows themselves to show.
Shame and guilt has kept everyone from enjoying our true nature. Variety in sexuality and gender shall be celebrated and explored without shame. Shame kills attraction, brings insecurity, drives jealousy. It’s what hinders relationships and life in general and thus society.
I encourage anyone to go within, embrace themselves and express what brings them joy!
